Specialist Contracting AEC E2025-87 MBAV Sector Elections
Open letter to Master Builders Association of Victoria Specialist Contracting Sector Group Members 10-10-2025
With the Master Builders Association of Victoria Sector election process well underway, the Past Presidents are delighted by the number of suitable candidates for the various Sector Committees. Through your advocacy these Sector committees are a vital part of ensuring the Association is aware of each sector’s specific industry needs and has the knowledge and resources to deal with those requirements accordingly.
The Candidates have shown a desire to voluntarily participate in the MBAV and by doing so, demonstrate both the importance of the Association to the industry and that it is highly regarded by its extensive stakeholders.
This is the second election under the current constitution, and we understand the Candidates for the General Contracting, Housing and Specialist Contracting Sectors are oversubscribed. As a result, a ballot is required for these Sectors.
Given these circumstances, the non-candidate Past Presidents consider it appropriate to provide our opinion as to the candidates whom we believe will best serve MBAV and, by extension, the Building and Construction Industry.
In our opinion the most suitable candidates for the Specialist Contracting Sector are:
